Role Overview
The main purpose of this role is to drive operational excellence within our Design and Manufacturing functions. They will be responsible for implementing best practices, lead strategic process optimisation and system improvement initiatives and driving change in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Enhancement: Lead initiatives to develop and implement effective supply chain processes and systems, contributing to improved efficiency and performance.
- Process Improvement: Analyse existing manufacturing and supply chain operations to identify opportunities for optimisation and implement innovative solutions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and modelling techniques to support decision-making and provide insights into supply chain performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on supply chain initiatives.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and team members
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in supply chain
Skills:
- Excellent leadership skills
- Analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Report writing skills
